General Entry Requirements
This is to inform the candidates who chose New City University as first choice in the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that they can now apply for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) by visiting; https://admissions.newcity.edu.ng
Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme: 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (in not more than 2 sittings), one sitting only for Medicine, and 2024/2025 UTME Aggregate Score NOT lower than 170. Only candidates from 16years of age and above are eligible to apply.
Note
Admission to New City University's undergraduate programs is exclusively through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Direct Entry (JAMB DE). Only candidates who chose New City University as their first choice in UTME or DE are eligible for the screening process.
Candidates who did not initially select New City University as their first choice may apply but must change their first choice to New City University at an accredited JAMB CBT Centre to complete the admission process.
For Inter-University Transfer Admissions, candidates must submit their JAMB Admission Letter, Transcript, and Attestation Letter from their previous university to facilitate the transfer through JAMB. Foreign applicants are also eligible, provided they meet the general entry and JAMB requirements.
